Mark Blackmon |
Mark Blackmon developed his love for Southern Gospel music as a young child. His mother cultivated his interest by teaching him to sing harmony. Family events would always end with everyone around the piano singing the old quartet style songs. He continued to develop his interest by singing in church as well as in various groups while in high school and college. After college Mark married his high school sweetheart, Susan, and God blessed them with three beautiful daughters, Riley, Dabney and Sallie Anne. The rest of the group wonders if Mark is growing his own quartet. Mark is a versatile singer whose voice, talent and spirit bless everyone who hears him. He is amazed that God is allowing him to be a part of sharing the gospel through the ministry of King's Cause. |

Dianne Hamrick has been singing gospel music since she was a little girl. A PK (preacher's kid), she and her family would sing at the church where her father pastored or wherever the Lord would give them the opportunity. In her late teens she and her brother formed a group called Vision, and they sang for fourteen years, traveling on weekends and recording two projects. After her third child was born, she felt she needed to be at home with her children. She came off the road, but remained involved in the life of her church and continued to sing as the Lord gave her opportunities, confident that she would one day return to a more active singing schedule. Now that her children are mostly grown, two in college and the third in middle school, the Lord has once again placed her in a group to use her powerful voice in ministry. Dianne feels extremely blessed to be able to sing for the Lord with the members of King's Cause |

Donna Miller |
Donna Miller has loved Southern Gospel music for as long as she can remember. Her father was the music director in their home church, so singing was as much a part of her daily life as eating. She is a born alto, and hearing the harmony came natural for her at an early age. Her first solo in church was when she was five years old. As a teenager, she formed a trio with two other girls and sang for churches in the community. Since that time, Donna has been a part of various groups in her church. This is her first opportunity to sing and minister on a broader scale, and she feels very blessed to be a member of King's Cause. |

Dennis Nichols has always loved music and singing. As a teenager, he began to sing in the church choir and started getting opportunities to sing solos and be in various groups. While in high school he and his future wife, Susie, sang in a group called The Friends of the Father who sang in his home church and various other churches in the area. He developed his interest in Southern Gospel music as an adult when he attended a concert by the Cathedral Quartet. He was amazed by the spirit and talent of the late George Younce, and became an instant fan. Dennis feels truly blessed to be able to be part of a group such as King's Cause and to have the opportunity to be able to sing the music he loves with his friends and to be able to share the love of Christ with all of the different people who hear King's Cause sing.
